AI and UE5 : How I used AI to create this Architecture scene in Unreal Engine
Have you used AI to create reference to build scenes in Unreal Engine ? I show you the simple process I used for this scene.
I used super simple 2 word prompt to create a reference in Midjourney.
Then made a bare bones model in 3dsmax I exported using a mixture of datasmith (first batch) then FBX for the fixtures and details.
Step 3 was to import very detailed assets from 3dsky.
the landscape was dressed using brushify.io then I added a sun and sky and used sequencer to animate the time of day.

Cinematography and UE5 : the fundamentals of framing
Переглядів 1,5 тис.11 місяців тому
Framing is the first step to making a visual impact. Whether sketching a portrait or staging a scene for film, framing allows you to direct the viewer's attention. In cinema, it's not only what you show, but also what you deliberately choose not to show that creates mystery and engagement. Framing, is the act of putting a window between you and the world. Like tunnel vision, it negates the spac...

what I don't get is why the noise isn't cached but instead keeps dancing around forever. this is still the case in unreal 5.4

Has anyone run into the issue of the first tile exposure being correct but the remaining tiles are all dark? Running ue5.3 and followed this tutorial precisely. Final image has the top left tile looking perfect and the remaining image with no exposure. Manual exposure on cam, no post processing, exposure compensation set to 9.

This tutorial actually helped a SIGNIFACANT amount, the built in caustic with the water plugin in UE5 suck and don't look great whatsoever and this really improves the look of my caustics, the vuilt in caustic feature only look correct if the waves are shaped moving in a diagonal direction and these help so much with the type of water I'm creating :)

I've open this scene in Chaos Vantage, which is realtime Vray and it surpasses UE5 quality, because Vantage (being actually Vray) is a pure raytracer, while UE is a rasterizer with the add of some raytracing elements.

Great series! I'm working on a similar configuration to design an interactive pavilion. The code he presented works but can be simplified (min19:30). GetDataTableNames + ForEachLoop + GetDataTableRow + Break (Out Row output) and you have already all the values to plug into Instance Transform of Add Instance. No need to set all those variables unless you need them a second time.

Thank you very much for this short review. I am very glad that you showed how to work with tables and data. In theory, everything became clear. Take data from the table, multiply objects by these points and vectors. And you change these vectors or objects in a loop. It's all very cool. And most importantly, optimized. After all, instances are considered the best. Apparently, of course, I'm a little confused, but I think if I try to go this way myself, I can figure out both the nodes and the table Thank You, again!
